Stoeger M3000 08-12-2021, 08:23 PM. Got the extended mag ghost ring sight model. Bbl would not fully seat to collar. Had to work that quite a bit and tap til it seated. Gun is light, and recoil operated. Took 2 boxes of heavy trap loads out to break it in. It runs fine. Kicks pretty hard though.

As an owner of 2 Stoeger M2000s (early 12 ga. models and doing GREAT), a couple of "Belgium" Browning semis (an A5 12 and a "Sweet" 16 ga.), a Mossberg 9200 12 ga. combo (great gun at a fantastic price) and a Verona 20 ga. o/u, I have relied upon this site for a lot of very useful information. I hope that the same will be true on this gun.

The P3000's comfort is surprisingly good. Weighing-in at a scant 6.9 pounds, the Stoeger is suitable for hauling over hill and dale. Like any pump gun, the full force of your round is transmitted back into your shoulder. The P3000's relative lightness of being means there's less mass to soak up that jolt.

Posted May 5, 2014. So i bought a Stoeger M3500 Max 4 28 inch semi Shotgun on March 5th. First thing i did was take the gun apart and cleaned it. The gun did not have any cosmetic problems. I took it that weekend to test it out and shot #2 duck load to break it in. After 6 shots i noticed the pin on the bolt was destroyed.
